What's Your Story? is a picture book which has a wide audience, being a historical fiction text. It immediately grabs the readers interest by posing the question "What's your story?". No matter who we are and where we come from, this is a question that immediately gets you thinking, as we all have a different experiences to share. 
The text centres on Australian history as it follows the journey of a the arrival of European settlers through the eyes of an orphan boy and an Aboriginal girl called Milba. It keeps the reader entertained by telling of the characters shared encounters about the way they live and the worlds that they come from.
